Cryobiosis is an experimental dark ambient project from Romania, started in 2012 by Cristian Voicu. His music attempts to describe the environment and feelings that surround a man in a post-apocalyptic world as he begins to discover the ruins and abandoned places that surround him. The first Cryobiosis album, titled "From the Depths", was released in August 2012 on the Russian nelabel GV Sound. In the fall of 2012 Cryobiosis became a part of Cryo Chamber, and contributed to the label's first compilation "Behind the Canvas of Time" with the track "Departure. The second Cryobiosis album, titled "Within Ruins", was released in May 2013 on Cryo Chamber.
