Crowns on 45 formed in the summer of 1999 as a three-piece (2 guitars and drums) when Hellskiss, Ernesto and Chris first met in a fateful New Jersey practice space and 'bashed out' their first song together, "Walking In Squares". After a while Ernesto headed off to L.A. to write, direct and produce movies (such as 'Better Luck Tomorrow'). Soon after this Jed joined the band; he was the first Crowns bassist. However, Jed left the band later to be replaced by two interim bassits: Greg, who helped write more songs with crowns on 45 and Doug of WFMU fame who went on a mini East Coast tour with them. Soon crowns on 45 found a permanent bassist in the form of Aisha. After 3 years crowns on 45 decided to call it quits. <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/Crowns+on+45">Read more on Last.fm</a>.
