CONTROL ESCAPE is an American stoner punk band. The band formed in 2006 when its songwriters Ken Adam and Peapod abandoned city life and moved to rural Freevillle, NY. KEN ADAM: Frontman/producer Ken Adam was born and raised in San Francisco. He records solo projects using the moniker Poop Yer Pants. Adam is the grandson and former student of nationally acclaimed sculptor Ruth Asawa. PEAPOD: Peapod grew up in Reading, Pennsylvania. She is co-lyricist, backing vocalist, and VJ for Control Escape. In addition to his uber skills as a rock drummer, he's also a studied steel drum player with Afro-Latin influences. He has backed numerous acts including hardore band Loss for Words. ZACH "Big Stax" ROHRER: Lead guitarist Zach Rohrer is from Elmira, New York. He is the former guitartist for The Electric Shoes.
