Born in 2009, when most of its members were a mere ten years old, Closer Than We Appear is a straight-forward indie/alt rock project straight out of Scituate, MA. Their album, Evaluating Expressions, was voted Album of the Year for 2012 by Limelight Magazine. Fronted by star quarterback Gabe Goodman, these talented sad boys are here to win your heart. Currently, the boys claim to draw inspiration from the likes of Death Cab for Cutie, Modest Mouse, U2, Bombay Bicycle Club, and Phoenix.
