With the help of producer Eric Bass of Shinedown, Cleverform brings a versatile, modern sound to the alternative rock genre. In early 08’ Singer/Songwriter Justin “Cowboy” Boykin started with an idea and with drummer and long time friend, Daniel Nolen, started piecing together the band, basing themselves in Jackson, MS. With powerful, catchy vocals paired with Nolen’s edgy, metal, active rock drumming background, Cleverform’s sound is nothing but original. After months of practicing as three-piece and trying out many of the local musicians, they settled on Chicago native Eric Wassilak on guitars and keyboards along with former guitarist for the west coast group Thr3, Cody Smith. Pairing their jazzy, melodic rock sound with the already original sound, Cleverform is continuing to write versatile, catchy tunes and plans to explode onto the scene in 09’ by bridging the age and genre gaps that are rarely connected in today’s music with their first full length album with a tentative release date of early June, 2009. <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/Cleverform">Read more on Last.fm</a>.
