There are two metal bands named Cimmerian: 1) Cimmerian is a progressive melodic death metal band from New Lenox, Illinois. They have currently released two full lengths, Infinite Perdition in 2011 and Hollowing in 2014. The band has cited Insomnium, Moonspell, Agalloch, Scar Symmetry, Opeth, In Mourning, Between the Buried and Me, Enslaved and Peter Pawlak as their main influences.
