1) Chris Holt is a Dallas-based musician: singer, songwriter, and guitar virtuoso. The list of bands Holt has either fronted, lent his guitar magic to, or supported is an overwhelming history of the last decade-plus of Midwestern rock. Chris has won the prestigious Dallas Observer Music Award's Musician of the Year for the last two years (2005 and 2006) and Best Instrumentalist in 2006. Rumor has it that in 2007 Chris' band Olospo is rebranding themselves as The Slack, and will be reissuing Holt's solo record "Summer Reverb" under the new nom de plume, as well as releasing a record of new material including the track "You Deserve Better," which can be found on the Zac Crain for Mayor benefit CD.
