An electro/acoustic/lounge artist based in the UK. If you own a lounge/Chill Out compilation or two the chances are Cathy Battistessa will feature in there somewhere! Cathy has been hailed as “The voice of the Café Del Mar” after having written the Legendary Chill-Out Hit “More Than Ever People” and other Café del Mar classics “Oh Home” and “Riva”. Since then she has gone on to collaborate with Afterlife co-writing with Steve Miller, "Shine", "Go Easy", "Let it Go" and the title track of the last Afterlife Album “Speck Of Gold” all songs are featured on various compilations, Buddha lounge, Cafe Mambo etc. More collabs to check out - Rob da Bank (Radio One) / Lazyboy, track “Don’t fret George”, Paco Fernandez "Oh HOme", Kirk de Giorgio - ASOne "Shed Dem", Laid/ Zoo Brazil " Presence" , Stephane Pompougnac (Hotel Costes), Chris Coco (Radio One) and “Still”.
