Butterflies in My Stomach is a project that emerged in the spring of 2005 and it is one of the most renowned, respected and desired bands of nu-jazz, funk and acid jazz in Romania . On March 31st, in the Silver Church club in Bucharest , Butterflies in My Stomach launches the album „Magic Store”. Beyond the elaborated and subtle music, beyond the style in which BIMS already have their share of „road openers” within the Romanian sound space, the „Magic Store” album represents a special musical product, which will be drunk...smoked...listened to....with butterflies. Even from the very beginning, the band composed of Maca (voice), Bujor Stoicovici (bass guitar and contrabass), Meghi (electric piano and synthetizators), Laurentze! (drums), who were joined by John (guitar) and Ieronim (trombone and computer sampling), performed numerous concerts in most of the clubs in and participated in the most important Romanian festivals.
