Bush Chemists are Dougie 'Conscious' Wardrop & Chazbo. Dougie started making tunes with Centry in the late 80s, which led to the start of his label and studio Conscious Sounds. After Centry disbanded, Dougie set up his own studio and started producing or co-producing tunes under the names Bush Chemists (with Chazbo), East Meets West (with a Japanese guy), Hydroponics and The Dub Specialists (with Love Grocer) as well as being the main mixing engineer for Jah Warrior. Bush Chemists have also produced albums by Kenny Knots, Culture Freeman (both of whom often join them when they play live) & King General. For ten years all of the Conscious Sounds albums were put out by the dub label Dubhead, but now he is releasing tunes through his Conscious Sounds imprint as well as a new album Raw Raw Dub on ROIR. <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/Bush+Chemists">Read more on Last.fm</a>.
