Another great Death Metal band from Perth, Australia. Drawing on influences from the metal and local hardcore scenes. Burn For Me came together around April of the year 2003. Finally settling with the line up of Kris on vox, Steve and Shaun on guitar, Brendan on bass and Karl on drums, they were ready to compose a sound with strong metal and hardcore influences. With Steve leaving the band in early 2004, long time friend and supporter Ash filled the second guitar role. After playing a number of local shows with bands such as Alleged, Fool The World, Miles Away, and From The Ruins, they hit the recording studio to produce a 3 track demo cd. They released and sold out of the demo within a few months, and were lucky enough to get the track from the demo "down, back, high punch" to feature on the Futile Records compilation cd. Burn For Me has been able to attain a strong fan base in Perth and have gained such varied supports as Mindsnare, Most Precious Blood, Stronger Than Hate, Blood Duster, Devolved, The August Reign and Shot Point Blank whilst continuing to write fast, melodic metal, with heavy breakdowns. Burn For Me recently acquired Ryan on drums and his first shows included supports for Parkway Drive and Taking Sides and the bands first venture east with a slot on the Crafterfest bill in Adelaide.
