In March 2024, Bruce Hornsby and experimental chamber ensemble yMusic released the album Deep Sea Vents under the name BrhyM: a ten-song project also inspired by Hornsby's reading of Herman Melville's "Moby Dick" and developed largely during the pandemic with contributions from Branford Marsalis and Chad Wright. The record opened at No. 1 on 'Billboard's "Classical Crossover Albums" chart. Coverage spanned the UK and U.S., with a full 'New Statesman' review and mention on a ''New York Times'' playlist.
