The band “blek le roc”, named after the French adaptation of an Italian comic, is composed of Lucas Fernandes, Benedikt Abé and Tobias Dirr. Formed in Munich in the spring of 2005, the start-up was quite stormy and in a inconceivable form, even in the wildest dreams of the band members. After three weeks of intensive practice and first performances in Munich, they played in July 2005 for an audience of nearly 5000 as support (band) for “Status quo”. The three from Munich, former members of “koresh teed, Suez und Lilac”, developed from their shared fascination and love for guitar music, their own unique interpretation from melancholic, measured pop music. `The uneasy feeling by the sugar-coated present, the wish for intensity and significance, swings in every song………; in this way they create that dubios-pleasant stimulation like when one rereads old love letters.
