Beverley Elliott is a Canadian actress and singer-songwriter. She is best known for playing the role of Granny in Once Upon a Time (where she wears a wig, covering up her bright red curly hair - much like Estelle Getty on The Golden Girls), Maggie Krell in Harper's Island, Brick Bannerman in Kingdom Hospital and Sally Duffield in Bordertown. Although she is best known as an actress, as a singer, she released several albums as a singer. Beverley Elliott, the irrepressible redhead is originally from Listowel, Ontario, but she now makes her home in North Vancouver. Combining her careers singing, acting and writing. She has recently enjoyed playing the role of "Granny" on ABC's hit series Once Upon a Time and as a recurring storyteller at the popular Vancouver The Flame. Beverley has been entertaining audiences with her own brand of earthy country folk music for over twentyfive years. She is a regular performer at the Just Singin' Round songwriters showcase as well as various other festivals, benefits, churches, and children's events. She has released three independent CD's: Yellow Dress, a compilation of original songs and two bedtime children's CDs, Dream Child and Magic Carpet Ride (Parents Choice Award). Her song 'Are You Listening?' won 1st prize in BC at the CHUM Radio's national competition. Other acting credits include playing the lead role as Canadian icon Lucille Starr in the theatre sensation Back to You, The Life and Music of Lucille Starr as well as successful shows at the Vancouver Arts Club theatre, Firehall Theatre, Blyth Festival and touring with the hit Mom's The Word for 6 years. Film and tv favourites: Clint Eastwood's Unforgiven, Sisterhood Of The Travelling Pants, The X Files, DaVinci's Inquest, Hope Island, Harpers Island, Kingdom Hospital, and Mysterious Ways. Beverley says that her daughter Sally is her biggest creative project to date.
