Let's go back to the early days... Benn Lian (aka Joris Biesmans) was born on the 13th of December 1983 in Hasselt . When he became 13, his older brother and him opened a small clubhouse in their backyard where they gave small parties for their friends. With a second-hand mixer, a tape deck and two regular cd-players Benn took charge of the music and he immediately lost his heart to the 4/4 beat. As the years passed by Benn started to develop his own and unique style of music. You could say that he found his own musical identity. This "musical identity" got noticed by some influential people in the clubscene and in no time you could find him behind the decks in lots of big clubs in Belgium, The Netherlands, France, Spain, Ibiza. Not only the clubs, but also big partys and festivals booked him for his well know dancefloor-attacks! Almost at the same time Benn Lian started to play music, he started to produce his own tracks. At first this was just for fun, just to pass the time. But after years of pratice, his productions started to sound better and better and he decided to take things to another level by building his own studio. This was a logical but crucial step in his carreer as a dj/producer! More and more people noticed his producing-skills and finally he was taken seriously! Today you can find Benn almost every day in the studio working on some new tracks, trying to innovate his music and improve his techniques.
