Biography
1. A new band started by Spraynard’s Jake Guralnik and Hannah Eagle, who sold merch for Spraynard. Seeing as they wanted to stay in touch after the tour but hated talking on the phone, they decided they should just start a band together instead. 2. Bat Boy is not a band but a musical based on an on going series in the tabloid magazine the Weekly World News. The full name of the show is Bat Boy: THE MUSICAL. The play was created by Brian Flemming and Keythe Farley and the music was written by Lawrence O'Keefe. The show started in Los Angeles and has had successful runs on Broadway and in London. The show is currently off Broadway, but can be seen in various regional performances.
The show has frequently met with resistance and has been banned in some cases due to such elements as beastiality and incest, though the show's over all theme is one of acceptence.
A movie version titled Bat Boy: THE MOVIE is being made by director John Landis (American Werewolf in London). Deven May, who was the original Bat Boy is slated to reprise the role in the film version. Read more on Last.fm.
