BastiBasti stand for a contemporary sound that bridges modern synth sounds with the outbursts of metalcore. It‘s an interesting EP beyond the denim & leather sounds. With BastiBasti the singer started a new project. ‚Spiral Tapes I‘ is the first EP Sobtzick releases as a solo artist and although some parallels to the musical mothership are apparent, the new material is heading for another direction. The EP contains five songs and what strings them together is a dark and partly dystopian vibe. The lyrics are kept in German and the base of each of the songs are samples and synth-layers.
