He gained attention with his 2024 songs "Pancakes & Drugs" and "6ix Times 2Day" and achieved further recognition with his single "Rollin," which entered the TikTok Billboard Top 50. In 2025, his single "Went West" entered the Billboard Hot 100. BabyChiefDoit was selected as a 2025 XXL Freshman. His debut studio album, "Animals Only" (2024), and his second album, "Zoo Life" (2025), received generally positive reviews from critics. He has performed at festivals including Rolling Loud 2025 and the Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash. Musically, BabyChiefDoit is associated with drill rap and has been compared to Chief Keef and Waka Flocka Flame. In a 2025 interview, he stated that he had used ChatGPT to assist in writing lyrics, which drew criticism.
