B Smyth was a bit of a late bloomer. Growing up in Fort Lauderdale, FL, Smyth didn't realize he wanted to be a vocalist until he was halfway through high school. Around 10th grade, he joined chorus and did a couple of talent shows, and started to get a response from the girls at school and decided to stick it out. His decision to stick with singing paid off. He's among a new class of R&B singers & Hip-Hop stars poised to make it big in 2013. Smyth is the latest sensation to sign with Motown Records and over the past year, he witnessed first-hand what it means to be an artist on one of the world's most recognized labels. For Smyth, putting in the hard work paid off. His single "Leggo" is getting him a tremendous amount of buzz and features fellow hip-hop star 2 Chainz.
