Although the band Astrobeat in full lineup got together in the spring of 2010, three members of Astrobeat – Ats Treimaa, Mario Murd and Risto Iljas had been making music and playing together since the autumn 2008. After a year of creating tunes, a guitarist Siim Rospu was met who joined the band. A couple of months later a singer Mariann Saar was offered a place for lead vocals, who accepted the offer after hearing the first recorded demos and Astrobeat was formed. In summer 2010 Astrobeat released their first promo CD with 2 tracks "Just Try" and "By Your Side" which were played in local radio stations and recieved surprisingly only positive feedback. Astrobeat's music is influenced of a several genres, including r'n'b, pop, funk, jazz etc. It's a combination of new and old, urban and natural… On the 1st of november 2010 Astrobeat released their third single called „I Could Be Wrong“. <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/Astrobeat">Read more on Last.fm</a>.
