Ariel fashioned her sound from the foundations of punk rock from her dad’s LP and cassette collection, as well as guilty pleasure pop and alternative rock songs. The 80’s underpins Ariel’s sound in a way Blondie, New Order and The Cure would undoubtably approve of. Born and raised in L.A.'s San Fernando Valley, Ariel’s gets the hipsters nod of approval as a headliner in the east side indie scene and globally through her viral hits Love Me Better and Slower Than Usual. Ariel Beesley, the self titled debut EP (2018) was written in New York, Los Angeles, London, and Stockholm and touches on themes of love, heartbreak, feminism and whatever being in your 20s is all about. Ariel is finishing her full-length debut album that she will unleash in 2021.
