Another Sinking Ship Bio: Another Sinking Ship started as a project in 2004 by Jukka and Juho, but it seemed impossible to find people for the band who would be able to create something together, and the line-up had constant changes leading to somewhat ridiculous and desperate attempts to write songs that would sound like us and what we wanted to sound like. In late 2005 we found out Samuli was looking for a band to play drums in and we hooked him up. I think it was in early 2006 when Frans joined the band on the bass, and things started to look a bit clearer. We came up with a name for the band and rehearsed and rehearsed, and then played on an open stage night at Vastavirta, Tampere. In autumn 2006 however, another change took place in the line-up. Jani joined the band due Tatu's decreased time to put in it after his wife got pregnant and was about to give birth, and Jukka started playing second guitar while Jani gave us something more on the lead guitar. After this we finally decided to start rehearsing and decided to make this work for us so that we could go out and play shows. Nevertheless, after a few shows, Frans decided to leave the band. As this came kind of out of the blue for the band and we had shows booked, we were really happy to quickly get Masa (from Armageddon Clock) to come in and give us a hand with the bass. Anyway, this is pretty much how A.S.S. got started and what we've done so far.
