BAND HISTORY Aneuma is a metal band hailing from Puerto de Vega, formed in 2021. With a foundation in death metal that encompasses various sounds and trends, they have crafted a powerful and innovative style capable of reaching any audience. The members of this band have decades of experience performing on stage with prominent groups like Escuela de Odio, Sound of Silence, Legacy of Brutality, Cathexia, and Crummer. A lifetime devoted to music culminates in this ambitious project's fruition. In the year 2022, they kicked off their live shows, opening for Brujeria in their second concert. ) "Clímax" which n garners In October of the same year, they self-released their debut album' recognition and critical acclaim from both the audience and metal media. Recently, they emerged victorious in the Metal Battle Spain competition, which directly took them t o the stages s of the German festival Wacken Open Air, where they achieved second place among finalists from 30 countries. Also, in 2023, they began recording their second album while simultaneously qualifying for the finals of the Festi AMAS, which showcases the best bands from the Principality of Asturias. Aneuma performs a heavy yet melodic metal, drawing from the diverse influences of all the band members. The creation of this project benefits from the years of work and experience of each band member, resulting in an innovative sound capable of reaching a wider audience, as reflected in their albums. Their sound blends elements from the darkest death metal to the most traditional heavy metal, with influences from sludge and black metal. The band offers sincere, original compositions that show they do not adhere to any restrictive patterns when it comes to writing music.
