Located in the DC/Maryland area, An Obscure Signal displays an appropriate blend of melodies, furious riffs, and in-your-face vocals that will please hardcore and metal fans alike. While the band does not like to be held down by genre descriptors, most fans recognize the band as “progressive metal” with some “djent” influences. Having just released their Debut EP “Creations,” with the help of producer Misha Mansoor, An Obscure Signal is gearing up to hit the road in 2011.
