Joel started writing music on an Atari ST back in 1997, inspired by the explosion of Jungle and Drum and Bass music that was coming out at the time. Heavy influences included Roni Size, Krust, Photek and Peshay. The first commercial releases from Alternate Vibes have come out on Santorin Records in 2009 and are available through iTunes, Beatport and other digital outlets.
