There are at least 2 bands named Alpha Quadrant. 1. South Florida based New Retrowave/Synthwave act Alpha Quadrant. It contains pounding pulsing beats, earth-shattering bass and low end, and synth sounds from the deep reaches of space! https://alphaquadrantofficial.bandcamp.com/album/alpha-quadrant 2. AQ is Frank W. from Germany / Southern Westphalia. His first electronic music project was called "Split Effect", most known songs "Controlcenter" and "What Happened?". This band existed only 2 years - the other member was Holger B. Frank founded Alpha Quadrant as a new solo project around 2005. He has now quite good experience in electronic music creation. Most of his stuff is a mixture from the genres dark-electronic, hardtrance, ambient,industrial but also with psychedelic and techno roots. Update 2012: This band wasn´t active quite a long time, but still exists.....so stay tuned. Update 2020: Turns out there is another band named AQ now. The original AQ re-started making some tracks in 2020/March.
