Allsoulsday was a San Diego, California based alternative rock band that existed from 1992-1996. Members included Barry Poudrier (voice), Thomas Galvez (guitars), Dave Handzlik (keys), Wayne Cameron (bass), and Rob Metcalf (drums). The musical influences ranged from Cocteau Twins, The Smiths, Roxy Music, Simple Minds, Tears for Fears, and James Brown. A couple of unreleased EP's were created, and one full length, self-titled CD was produced in 1996. The band enjoyed limited success in the San Diego area for a few years, opening for acts such as the Church, The Tubes, and Todd Rundgren. Allsoulsday could never break out of the local scene despite some keen interest from some top executives in the LA music scene. The music surely had some magical moments and riveled some of the alternative rock commercial acts that were popular at the time, but due to the age-old rock band in-fighting and increasing musical differences, Allsoulsday disintegrated shortly after the release of the self-title release in 1996. <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/Allsoulsday">Read more on Last.fm</a>.
