Alkin Engineering is Sheffield-born and now South London-based, Nigel Truswell who has previously released tracks on labels including Static Caravan, Unlabel and October Man Recordings. He is currently producing under the name of Oberman Knocks and his debut album under that name is the first release on Andrea Parker’s Aperture label, with much of the sonic palette being constructed around dark drones, contorted, digitally-processed industrial breakbeats and the occasional fragment of cut-up, unintelligibly yelled vocals. <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/alkin+engineering">Read more on Last.fm</a>.
