ALISON GROSS started as an acoustic duo in 1992 under the name ON GOLDEN POND, consisting of Muriel Brugman (bass, vocal) and Erwin Wolters (guitar, vocal). A year later drummer Paul van Rijswijk (ex-Supersub) joined and the band was renamed into ALISON GROSS. Late 1994 their first album “Sit With The Guru” was released. This well-received album enabled them to tour intensively. Their fame even rose as far as Peru (!), where they reached the number one spot with their song “Sit Up Straight”.
