english Young Czech DJ Alexx van den Berg from Prague, Czech Republic was born in 1984 in Ceska Lipa, where he’s also started his DJ career. First parties he passed in local club Autonomia. However, his name was well-known throughout the whole Czech electronic-dance-music scene years before, because he’s one of the best Czech party photographers. After the years of photographing of the greatest Czech and also European events, Alexx decided to start with DJing with the purpose of showcasing of his own vision of the dance music. His typical sound could be described as house and trance, resp. progressive house and tech-trance. He also produced his first special mash-up (Paul van Dyk vs. Lucca – Crush Mirage) yet, which represents the beginning of Alexx van den Berg’s production. Alexx’s DJ marvels are Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren and Sander van Doorn. During his sets could be also heard his favorite producers – among them belong not only named artists, but also Richard Durand, Marco V and Marcel Woods In the end of the year 2007, Alexx was invited to have a gig on the special Prague party for Czech DJ talents, which was called Czech This Future and where he was spinning around DJ Athro, housy Martinez and psytrancy Zooropa. In Ceska Lipa he was part of the line-up next to the big Czech names like Nika77, Spyro or Kaisersoze. Alexx’s using laptop during his gig. In the near future he would like to travel through the whole country and first achievement in this direction he acquired because of being part of the line-up of the most prestigious Czech club trance event, E-motion. This great and well-known party is continuing in the January 2008 thank to its fourth part and Club Fleda would invite Simon Patterson and Will Holland from the United Kingdom. Alexx will be one of their support DJs and will introduce himself next to the resident of the party, Stepan Bruck.
