This band hails from Saudi Arabia. Their lyrical influence is mainly in anti-religion. The name Al-Namrood itself is derived from the non-believer, an ancient historical autocratic character who once reigned the world with an overpowerful evil, slayed and ruled with despotic, also said "im the God of all creation". The type of black metal this band plays is, by the band itself, named as "oriental black metal". It has a heavy arabic influence due to ethnic instrumentation and beat.
