AK420 is a multi-instrumental artist, best known for his unique approach to producing beats of the golden Hip Hop era. A journey into the sounds of Jazz combines laid-back harmonies and catchy melodic arrangements with heavy hitting drums, all delivering a distinctive twist to relaxing quality tunes – perfect to enjoy some quality dope to. AK realized on the 04-20-2014, while still playing drums in a successful Death Metal band called ‘Stillbirth’, that his longtime passion and profound taste in 90s Hip Hop was about to materialize in an own project. The result of a whole year’s hard work was his first EP ‘Rua Augusta’, a collection of soothing beats that was released after taking a trip to Lisbon.
