First, let us introduce ourselfs: We´re not a band that´s praying about straight edge or vegetarian stuff... even though some members believe in these philosophies. In fact we don´t care about any labels at all. You can call us toughguys or edgemetal or whatever. We don´t give a fuck. We´re just trying to do what we feel is best for us and not let anyone tell us what to do or how to live... And that´s what HARDCORE really means to us. AGE OF DISGRACE It all started like in early 2000 when we were jamming around and found out that we just wanted to do heavy kickass music. We began writing songs in september 2000 and thats when AGE OF DISGRACE was founded. Our musical influences are not only rooted in hardcore music but also in metal and whatever... we don´t try to play a certain style of music, we just play what we think sounds good and since almost all of us are into violent dancing, this has also a big effect on our music. Our lyrics deal with everyday´s frustration and anger and all those fucking feelings that come up when you´ve got to deal with this fucked up and narrow minded society and all those braindead backstabbing motherfuckers. Our first demo CD was recorded in december 2000. The songs on the demo are not as good as the stuff we play nowerdays, but due to some study- and job-related reasons we had to record it after only 4 months of playing together. We´re planning to record the new songs in the summer 2001. We´ve played a couple of local shows with some (well known) hardcore acts but since hardly anyone knows us yet it´s pretty hard to get shows.
