Growing up on various music genres (like alt-rock, EDM, ambient, and even video game soundtracks, to name a few), ACJayC was bound to fuse many of these sounds into something he could call his own. It was with the discovery of trip hop/downtempo and alternative hip hop, when he realized this multigenre fusion was possible, and decided to take a progressive leap of faith away from his humble beginnings of traditional boom bap raps under an earlier moniker. Now, ACJayC taps into the avant-garde and produces atmospheric soundscapes to suit his abstract lyricism and surreal undertones.
