Abstract Nostalgic Fractals Systems is a dub techno/ambient techno musical project, consisting of Cesar "M1A1" Alexandre and long-time friend/collaborator Alessandro "Nodhead" III, hailing from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and founded in 2011. The duo makes uplifting and progressive songs, made with analog and modular synthesizers, field recordings, noise generators and sampling progressive house/trance beats.
All the songs are, usually, recorded in their studios in Osaka, Japan and in Seoul, South Korea. Taking inspiration from Deepchord, Echospace and early works from Aphex Twin, the duo classifies their songs as "drone techno". Read more on Last.fm.
