27REEVES is a 19-year-old experimental underground alternative trap artist and producer originally from Northwest Florida, but now residing in South Alabama. They have worked with the likes of Downer850, RVPSO, Dedsaint, and others, and has been making music since 2017. Originally using a SoundCloud era-esque trap sound, they switched in 2020 to a more cloud rap based style, which later eventually switched to a more melodic hyperpop-ish sound come mid-2021. Ever since then, Reeves has been refining their sound into a more specific style that only they make. Reeves is also known to be versatile with their music, like for example, their 2021 album “eighteen” blends many different sounds from aggressive rap, pluggnB, and even underground rage. But Reeves will also go outside their comfort zone to experiment with an 8-track post-punk goth rock record, “identity thief”, which released on June 23rd, 2023. Reeves just released a six-track EP named “WIFIDEATH: SIDE C” on September 8th, 2023. This project received production from multiple members of the somewhat secret RVRE M0VES group chat, and even Reeves as well.
