Introducing Earshot’s first Australian artist signing! 13th Son, aka 25 year-old Dario Falzon, is one of Sydney’s most respected and hard working MCs. 13th Son began as part of the group Industrial Dispute. By 96 Industrial Dispute changed its name to Fathom. His first solo material came out in 2000 by way of an EP titled ‘Always’ on Basic Equipment. As 13th Son he has supported many international acts including Latyrx, Blackalicious and Mystik Journeymen. 13th Son's first LP "The Hero The Trickster" features production from some of Sydney’s finest including Sereck (Def Wish Cast, Celsius), Fame (Overproof) and various members of live outfit Upshot. The album is varied and rich in sound from downtempo introspective tracks, to the more uptempo bravado bangers such as the street single “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Me” and the funk laden summer radio classic “I Try”.
