When in unison- they nullify, dwindle, divide, reorchestrate, fall down the stairs, ram soda straws into telephone poles, eat really killer sandwiches, make heaps of teriaki pickles, drape themselves on one another, take long soothing walks in the hills, watch terrible local television programs, accidentally hit the "off" button instead of "snooze", build large alien snowships, grow increasingly insane as the day rolls onward, and bathe infrequently. Actually there is just one person in the band and all that crap is his fault. 12CET was born in San Antonio Texas and mainly just hung out with friends and tried to get stuff for free for the first 25 years or so. The "band" is known to have no musical training whatsoever, other than a 3 month course in piano. In the late 90's San Antonio radio DJ "Tbone" Ross of KSYM called 12CET "Our musical genius". The "band" relocated to Los Angeles in 2003. Recently, the Los Angeles radio station KXLU played two songs by 12CET on the air- the theory exists that these two events were isolated accidents due to a cockroach crawling on a console, and/or a transient sneezing fit that caused an mp3 misfire. 12CET has played live twice- once at a fundraising event for a film project which was streamed live on the internet. During which one song was played. After unexpected applause erupted at the finish of the song 12CET became embarrassed and decided to end it on a high note. The other event was at a birthday party during which no actual songs were played, but instead 12CET drunkenly rambled a stream of thought "party poem" while a choice friend played bass lines. The band has been renamed several times: "Moonmummies", "Underwater Crash", "Strange Windfall Station", and "Lee Harvey's Wizard of Ozwald".
