Wish Upon A Star was formed back in the summer of 2004 , in a town called Rethimno , were the members of the band studied and spent endless time talking about forming a band !!! It wasn't until the autumn of 2004 that they found themselves a drummer and started rehearsing , writting songs and playing some shows in Rethimno as a five-piece , which led to the recording of their first demo cd. Shortly after that , they turn into a four-piece and begin to rehearse intesivly and play a lot of shows all around Greece , but mostly in Athens.With this line-up they recorded two self financed promo discs , which they gave away at their shows and some attention from the Greek press is given to the band. Since then the band enrolled their long time friend Lepas on guitar and the rest of the members moved back to their hometown Athens , the band continues to work and write new material but also in a new direction sound-wise , it is more of punk rock and rock & roll now and less of the pop elements they used to include in their sound. Now they spend most of time in the studio recording their first Ep , and working on a tour to promote their new stuff after the recording process is done !!!
