Waking up east all started when Lead singer/guitarist Jay Indorato (formally of waking to redemption) moved up to monroe ny in early 2007. Thanks to his father he met Bassist Tommy Morse( formally of T.O.R)and they quickly started working together. In about July 2007 Jay and Tommy met Lead Guitarist Tom Hanley while working at an autobody shop in monroe ny. About a month later Tom Hanley asked Jay and Tommy to come jam with Drummer Christian Cotter and Waking Up East was born.
