After spending a number of years recording and producing bands from his hometown of Boston, vocalist/guitarist Robert Logan would finally venture out of the studio with his band, Vic Firecracker, in 1995. Taking a cue from the likes of Jawbox, Mission of Burma, and Sunny Day Real Estate, Logan and company would capture a heavier but melodic guitar-based sound on his debut split EP with Orbit in 1997 through Lunch Records.
