Venatic is a heavy rock band from Hamburg / Germany, founded in 2003. After some changes during the bands history, the final lineup including Torben Neuss (drums), Markus Iben (bass), Mark Pöhner (guitar), Peter Haubenschild (guitar) and Julien Philipp (vocals) should be found. Since each musician has the same priority in this band, 5 different minds need to be united to get one result. The combination of their musical preferences sounds like a mixture of classic 80s metal and modern distorted guitar music. In their early days, Venatic saw band competitions as a good way for getting stage experience and so it happened that they entered the Bandnet Award final in 2004 and won their first studio recording. After two EPs, they finally released their self-produced debut album “Bleeding Alpha” in 2007.
