Trent Johnson is a musical artist born in the blue collar town of Albany, Oregon. Over the years he's been in numerous bands: Squish, Pop Secret, Coos Bay City Rollers, The Promise Breakers, The Secret Block Project, Poncherello and currently Echo No Echo. Trent's role in each band has evolved with the situation. Sometimes he acts as a bass player, other times as keyboardist, guitar player or singer. His musical career began as a child with rubber bands looped around nails stuck in an old 2x4 and a Tinker Toy drum set, then years later he became fascinated with home recording. As a young teen he taught himself to play guitar and began recording at home using various bits of home stereo equipment, a brand new Casio SK-1 keyboard and a boombox. Years later after playing in bands around Portland, Oregon he still records in his home studio, though the boombox has been replaced by a computer.
