Ticket to the Moon was formed in 2003 by Andy and Danny based on an original concept directly influenced by progressive music. Things started to get serious when Matt (Keys) and Simon (Vocals) joined and a first demo was recorded in a small studio near Basel. As the singer left the band in 2007, Andy and Danny decided to take over the vocal parts. A year later, Gys (Bass) joined and consequently completed the band. Together they played several shows in Switzerland and decided then to record their first album. So in May 2012 Ticket to the Moon and sound engineer Brett Caldas-Lima worked on their debut „Dilemma On Earth“ at Tower-Studio in Montpellier, France. In November 2012 the album was released in front of a thrilled crowd. Just two weeks later, the success of the album release gig helped them to be booked as the supporting act for the well-known Canadian neo-prog band SAGA where the band celebrated the evening with 800 excited prog-fans. Read more on Last.fm.
