Throckmorton formed out of the shrapnel from the breakup of the Walk-Ins in 1994. This instrumental outfit was a crusher to see live; the sound emitting from these three players took up the space of a ten players easily. With Ed Caner's violin sounding like three or four screaming lead guitars playing in unison and Tim Pevec's bass sounding like two rhythm guitars and a bass, this group could easily blow a headlining act off the stage, making the audience pack up and go home. <a href="https://ww...Read more on Last.fm

Melodies were often strange -- coming out of their own tonalities.
