The Short Dead Dudes emerged from a diverse music scene centered around Manchester High School in Manchester Michigan forming in 1989. Madchester known world wide as: Home Of The World Famous Chicken Broil, Film Location of the Horror Movie, "The Carrier", The prowling grounds of the notorious and deadly "Manchester Panther" and birthplace of Brownsville Station (who wrote "Smoking In The Boys Room" about the bathroom in good old MHS. SDD has become know as the inventors of the musical genre "hardcore comedy that sounds kinda serious". A type of music laced with teen spirit, deep lyrical content, an aggressive yet inviting with beat, with a tongue in cheek reference to endless inside jokes. They played the Ann Arbor Michigan area from 1989 to 1998. In that time they have been rumored to have released at lease seven albums.
