From deep within the soils of McNally Smith College of Music comes The Shade Colonists. It all started as simple jam sessions between solo artist Jimmy Byrne and aspiring professional musician, Chris Piette. From this, a bond was formed, that proved as a foundation for the awesomeness that was about to emerge. Two practices in, they realized they were seriously missing something. That sexiness that can only be brought by a bass guitar. They cried out across countries, scanning for anybody that could help. Thus, it came in return. Through the eyes of one named Sam Guertin. Two practices in, Jimmy and Chris decided to take Sam on as one of their own. Suddenly, the practice rooms were filled with sweet melodies and such as the three musicians were throwing chunky power chords around at eachother.
