New alternative punk rock group from Buffalo, NY, The Same Sun, brings you high-energy, modern music with a traditional punk backbone. By incorporating elements of funk, hip hop, ska, reggae, and hardcore, the band creates unique songs while making sure to deliver fun and intense live performances. Vinnie DellaValle, Joe DellaValle, Xavier Perdomo, Chris DeFedele, and Matt Cavanaugh got together in late 2015 and began recording their first 7-song album soon thereafter with producer, Ryan Wiesner, of True Sound Studios. On October 6, 2016, The Same Sun independently released Downtown Graffiti, demonstrating a distinctive musical style inspired by each members’ various personal influences. The band is continuously making new music, experimenting with even more styles, and is planning to tour the Northeast this upcoming year.
