Biography
The Sailor Sequence formed in the summer of 2006 out of a studio project collaboration between Kansas natives Nathan Johnson and David Noffsinger (AKA Noffy). The initial studio project featured the blending of Noffy's acoustic/folk stylings with Nathan's ambient electric guitar influence and textured digital programming. What began as an interest to record Noffsinger's voice for fun eventually turned into a persuable live project. Caleb Berciunas <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/The+Sailor+Se...Read more on Last.fm

The initial studio project featured the blending of Noffy's acoustic/folk stylings with Nathan's ambient electric guitar influence and textured digital programming. What began as an interest to record Noffsinger's voice for fun eventually turned into a persuable live project. Caleb Berciunas joined the group in the fall of 2007 adding his own flare of melodic and percussive talent to the group. TSS currently performs as a three piece, blending instrumental breakdowns, ambient textured programming and catchy but thought provoking lyrics. The groups major musical influences include Explosions in the Sky, Lymbyc Systym, The Album Leaf and Death Cab for Cutie. TSS has shared the stage with such acts as The Appleseed Cast, Mae, Deas Vail, Coalesce, The Forecast, The A.K.A.'s, Edison Glass, The Republic Tigers, Ivory and The Colour Revolt.
