Band members include Mohamed Ghazy on Acoustic Guitars, and Omar El Ziftawi on Vocals and Acoustic Guitars. The two switch roles depending on the song they play, so at times Ghazy would play lead whereas Ziftawi would play rhythm and vice versa. The bass played on the recordings is also done by both members, again depending on the song. As for the drums, the strings, the piano, the effects and everything on the recordings, they are all arranged by both Ghazy and Ziftawi while recording in the studio The Marbleheads are influenced by many artists including Oasis, John Mayer, Lifehouse, Howie Day, Damien Rice, Paul Weller, Ocean Colour Scene, Embrace, Dashboard Confessional, Dave Matthews, Jimmy Eat World, Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson, Sublime, Matchbox 20, Goo Goo Dolls, The Bluetones, Super Furry Animals and a lot more. The most amazing thing about this band is that it is extremely difficult to figure out who we sound like. This isn't an arrogant statement, it's more of a fact. If you listen to our songs, you'll understand that it is hard to compare us to any other artist.
